I really want to know who was behind this. Seriously. As if pulling up close enough to the pump to get gas doesn't already leave you with a limited amount of room to get out of your car, Kroger goes and attaches THESE huge newspaper racks to the poles! ANNOYING!
The picture doesn't show just how little space was allowed for me to open my car door to get out. It's misleading- it looks like MUCH more room than there actually was. I'm not a big girl by ANY means, and I had to do the shimmy dance to get out of the car and NOT slam my door on the new, convenient newspaper rack. It's like I could pull up, roll my window down, and pick up a newspaper. That'd be nice, ya know, if I didn't have to ACTUALLY GET OUT OF MY CAR and pump gas.
